Optional Meal Plan Cancellation & Refund Policy
Meal plans auto renew for next quarter.
Meals do not roll over quarter to quarter but Dining Dollars roll over until the end of the school year.
Meal Plan holders can upgrade their meal plan anytime. Downgrades are accepted through the second Friday, after the start of each quarter, by 4:30 pm PST. All meal plan changes are done online. The online portal is open Monday through Friday between 8a-4:30p.
All meal plan changes/purchases are pro-rated based on the first meal day of each quarter. If you upgrade and have less Board meals on meal plan than you should, there may be an overspent meal charge added to your account, since you receive a pro-rated refund for your old meal plan. Want to know all your upgrade options, including total charges and resulting Board meal balance? Simply email us at dining@wwu.edu and ask prior to making the change online.
