Dining Services is proud to announce the continued expansion of our mobile app solution, launched Spring 2020, now with mobile ordering capabilities at select locations! Our mobile solution is powered via the GET app, which is available for free on Android or iOs devices and select functionality is available using any modern web browser.
Who can use it?
Anyone with a valid Western ID number, including students, staff and faculty.
What can it do?
View your dining related tender balances, dining transaction history, add Viking Dollars, use a virtual ID card for contactless payment and place orders at select dining locations for pickup.
Where is it accepted?
The virtual ID card is accepted at all dining services locations as an alternative to using your physical student ID card, to create a contactless payment environment. Mobile ordering is currently available at Viking Union Café, Viking Union Subway, Viking Union Panda Express, Zoes in Wilson library, Tony’s Coffee in Miller Hall and Atrium Starbucks.
How do we use it?
1. Download it for Android or iOs devices or mark it as a favorite on any modern browser.
2. To secure your account, add a photo to your record by following the instructions on the app.
3. After your initial login to the app, using your Western user name and password, select a 4 digit pin, which is what will be used for all future logins.
4. You are now all set to start exploring the various features available within the GET app.
Help, I tried to use the app, but it couldn’t find me!
It could be that you are not yet in our system yet. Don’t want to wait to get added? Send an email to email@example.com from your Western student email and include your full name, student ID# and just let us know that you would like us to add you to the system so you can start using the GET app.
